Warranty & Returns

Warranties

Our products are sold as is and do not include any provision of support on how to install, setup and use the products.
TECS warrants to the Customer that clear title to the goods passes to the Customer when ownership passes in accordance with clause 14. The only conditions and warranties which are binding on TECS in respect of the state, quality or conditions of the goods sold or anything else in respect of the goods sold are those provisions which cannot be excluded pursuant to the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended). Otherwise all other conditions and warranties whether expressed or implied by law in respect of the state, quality or conditions of goods sold which may be binding on TECS apart from this clause, are hereby expressly excluded and negatived. To the maximum extent permissible by law, TECS provides the same product warranty to the Customer that the manufacture or supplier of the product in question offer. If a manufacturer of a product deems a product to be of merchantable quality, TECS asserts the same position, and to the maximum extent permissible by law the Customer must accept this.

Returns

Products must not be returned without the prior written consent of TECS. Any Products returned must be returned at the Customers cost and must be in their original and saleable condition. A re-stocking fee may be charged to the customer for returned Products.

Eligibility Conditions

Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, TECS reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee.

  • All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact BAR code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
  • TECS is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
  • TECS is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.
  • Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.

Final Sale & Nonreturnable Items

  • Unwrapped LCD/LED monitors 27" and larger
  • Unwrapped/opened computers and computer software
  • Electronic software downloads
  • Unwrapped consumable items (e.g., HDD, SSD, Paper, CD, DVDs, Ink cartridges, Toner etc.)
  • Any computers built or modified by TECS to customer's specifications.
  • Special order merchandise or any item indicated on the website as nonreturnable.
  • Ex Display Notebooks

Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model

Exchanges

Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed

Refunds & Credits

In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. If payment was made by cheque or direct deposit, we will issue the refund or credit to an alternate account ex: (savings/credit/cash)
